Well, I just got home wed night. Ten straight days of up at 5am done at 7pm sometimes midnight has wiped me out. It’s a good thing this pays well. I leave Sunday Night for  4 more days and then I’m home for a couple weeks. It’s kind of like touring except instead of singing & playing guitar,  I’m setting up sound systems & projectors to listen to people speak about real estate, economics, energy, & health care. Which is basically the topics of our evening news and presidential debates so I can’t get away from it.

I can’t believe I’ve been doing AV for like 8 years now. I guess that’s what happens to people when they find a side job that pays well, and then acquire a mortgage and have three children. Well if I’ve learned anything from all of these speakers this last month is that I should be thankful just to have some work in this California Economy. Right now I’m just thankful to be home. The kids are out of school so it’s going to be a Family Fun Day off to the pumpkin patch in search of the great pumpkin…or three.”
