I believe tattoos are okay, i just think it all depends on whether one is convicted or not. i mean of course god talks in the old testament about not getting tattoos or piercings, but the main reason people got tattoos and piercings in those days is if they were mourning over the dead or worshiping idols. i mean if we follow everything by exactly what it says in the old testament would we still be eating pork? i dont know just my thoughts on the situation.

Well given we are 100 miles from the nearest Dennys it would have cost us nearly as much to drive there and back as it would for the "free breakfast" had we paid for it. =) So no we opted out of the free meal.

Our Worship Pastor likes to mix new and old songs. I had an awesome time singing these this week. Especially I Would Do Anything. The chorus made me really think about things.

Messed up music, This is pretty close to the set list order.

Holy - Brenton Brown
Your Holiness Surrounds Me - Mark Walsh
Take Me In - Dave Browning
Everlasting God - Brenton Brown
(Announcements)
I Would Do Anything - Brent Helming
(Sermon)
(Communion)
By His Wounds - Mac Powell
From The Inside Out - Joel Houston

Ha ha, you don't recall your stomach feeling great after that choice! That's why we always call it Deadly's! We have no Denny's where I live, but I made pancakes for breakfast.

I don't feel my faith has been tested per-say. But I have had trials. I've given up on worrying about things since moving to Kauai. I have changed a lot, I used to worry all the time. We adopted 3 kids, which brought our total to 7 and just before the kids arrived I got Chronic pain. It wasn't an easy transition doubling the size of my family and with kids that came with baggage! I was given the verse Galations 6:8-10. I told myself, okay it's gonna be alright. I may not see the fruit of this for 5, 10, 20 yrs or maybe not until eternity. But that's okay everything is going to be okay. You know what? I'm already seeing the fruit! PTL!

My son is 8 now, so the conversations are no longer "preschool" doctrine. On the way home from church Sunday I asked him what he learned in Sunday school and he told me that Samsons hair was the secret to his strength and after He cut it he killed himself. I had to explain to him that it didn't quite go as simply as that. It seemed my son had missed all the details about obeying God, not being deceived, and God answering prayer.
