Name That Conference

As some of you might know, when I’m not playing music I often do free-lance audio/ visual production work. Most often in nice hotels or convention centers but not the most exciting content.? So, to help keep me entertained, I’ve decided to start a little game on here called “Name That Conference”. First up, Today’s conference: NCPGA. Can you guess the acronym? No googling!
Ok so the first thing that comes to mind when you here “pga” is the pro golfers association. So first thought was National Conference of Pro Golfers Association. But that sounds odd. So next on my list was National Conference Professional Gaming Association–but given where I live I know well enough that it would be a rather flashy event!
So I thought and thought. And came up with the following: Northern California Professional Golfers Association. Hows that? I figure its as good a guess as anything. =)
You are correct! Maybe this game is too easy. I’ll see how you do with next weeks gig. Yep, it was the Northern California Professional Golfers Association -13th Annual Teachers & Players Forum. Pretty exciting stuff.
